Crime Report Tuesday
Theft

Police officers were dispatched to the parking lot at Walmart on North Locust Avenue Sunday where a woman reported someone had stolen her purse. The victim, age 18, reported that she had been inside the store. When she returned to her car she discovered her purse was missing. Loss was estimated at $128.
Vandalism
A resident of Samuel Lane, Loretto, reported to deputies that her swimming pool pump had been vandalized. She said that she and her daughter had left briefly. Upon their return she found that someone had removed a drain line, causing the pump to run without the proper level of water. The pump had an estimated value of $200.
Theft
Deputies took a report of a stolen weed eater on Thursday. The victim reported it had been stolen from his carport. He said he had last used it on May 17. Loss was approximately $70.
